STUDENTS TOUR WASHINGTON, DC AND MORE!
Students from Lutheran High and Sioux Falls Lutheran took a trip to Washington, DC from June 12th-16th thanks to social studies teachers, Mr. Albers and Mrs. Kooistra. The group visited the Smithsonian Institution, the White House, Ford’s Theatre, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, Vietnam and Korean War Memorials, FDR and MLK Memorials, and Mount Vernon. Other highlights from the trip include Arlington National Cemetery, the National Archives where they viewed the original Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution; the WWII Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Capitol Building, and tours of the 1607 Jamestown Settlement and Colonial Williamsburg. Lots and lots of walking, but what an educational experience!

Congrats to the Marching Eagles on their successful marching band season!
